How to Organize Your Stories |
Now that you have a story in mind and media to illustrate it, let's organize the media so you can find them whenever you feel like creating your story. You will find it convenient to keep all your stories and images in one Desktop folder for easy access later. To do this let's add a folder to your Desktop.

We suggest putting your text, images and music in one handy folder. Let's call it MyStoryFolder, and then create subfolders. Label these by decade, or by key chapters in your life. Then you can save images from a CD, your camera or another file in a way that will make sense to you later. It's easy to add new subfolders to your MyStoryFolder. |
|
You can easily drag your images from any folder to your MyStoryFolder, or its subfolders. Simply follow our How To Drag and Drop guide. |

On a PC you can Print any Tutorial page for a handy desk reference - Hold the "CTR" key and press "P". Or Press the "PrtSc" key. To select and print part of a page, Click Here. Mac users can print a page by holding the "Control" key and pressing "P". To capture a page on a Mac, press the "Command" key (the Apple next to the space bar), and "Shift" key and the number "3" key simultaneously. This saves a screen shot of the current screen to the Desktop.
