Many of your images and music are already in digital format on your computer or disks. You can simply copy these to you MyStoryFolder. However, lots of picures are still in negative, slide or photo format. You can get these into files by scanning them yourself, or by having them scanned for you. Consider which of these 3 methods is best for you: |
1. Use your own scanner to scan your photos and save them to your MyStoryFolder in jpg format. Almost any teenager can help you get started, or you can use your scanner's tutorial . Print this page.

2. Take a few photos, slides or negatives to a local camera store, drugstore or superstore. Many will scan your photos to a CD inexpensively, or they'll show you how to scan them yourself using their kiosk. Again a teenager could help you. Insert your disk in your computer and copy the picture files to your MyStoryFolder. Take a moment to rename them, as they are usually labeled with numbers, and those won't remind you of the content. |

3. Or ship your shoebox, album, slides or negatives to our professional scanning service. They will scan your images to a CD and send it to you in a few days with your photos. Click on Shoe Box Scans >>>>
